Game Drives in the Private Nimali Concession

Experience The Magic of Tanzania

As a family-owned collection with roots in East Africa since the late 1890s, the Nimali team is passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience of this magical country with guests.

They grew up on the pristine land on which their lodges now operate, and are thrilled to be able to share authentic and sustainable African safaris with all who visit.

Stillness & Serenity Rediscovered

Located just 2.5 hours from the city of Arusha, Nimali Tarangire offers the perfect start or end to the northern safari circuit. Situated on its own private concession in Tarangire National Park, the exclusive lodge rests alongside a riverbed, and is well hidden amongst the acacia and baobab trees. Think thousands of acres full of beautiful wildlife and flora for your private enjoyment!

Tarangire National Park is beloved for its majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants. It’s also an excellent habitat for lion, leopard, buffalo and many antelope species unique to East Africa (including the lesser kudu, fringe-eared oryx, gerenuk and grant’s gazelle).

The contemporary camp décor merges with natural materials to provide luxurious suites with private decks overlooking the river bed; an open-fronted lounge and library; a traditional boma; and a swimming pool overlooking the waterhole, where wildlife regularly gather to drink.

Unfiltered Time & Space

Nimali Mara is a hidden oasis in a remote location that allows for ample privacy and solitude.

Set in the more remote area of Kogatende in the northern sector of the Serengeti National Park, it’s just 30 minutes from the Mara River.

With a name meaning ‘a vast land that runs forever, where endless plains meet the sky’, Serengeti National Park is truly breathtaking. The northern area of Lobo and Kogatende meet up with Kenya’s Maasai Mara reserve, and are renowned for the unforgettable wildlife crossings of the Mara river. In essence, visitors to the area are guaranteed an exceptional safari experience.

The perfect destination for unwinding and experiencing Tanzania’s wildlife up close, the boutique tented camp blends elegant design with organic elements. Each suite has been thoughtfully designed to offer the best views of the plains, with glass walls overlooking the sweeping landscapes and abundant wildlife. What’s more, each suite boasts a private deck with a swing bed and a gorgeous large copper bathtub. The lounge and dining areas offer unrivalled views of the Serengeti plains and the famous wildebeest migration. Last but certainly not least, an infinity pool within a rocky natural cave overlooks the plains and passing wildlife.

Immerse Yourself In Nature

Set in the heart of the Serengeti plains and situated at eye level with grazing herds of wildlife, Nimali Central Serengeti has been specially designed to offer the best views of the area, plus great access to the annual migration and the Big 5.

The lodge is close to Makoma Hill, which is best known for its large herds of buffalo, giraffe, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

The intimate and exclusive camp offers respite in the heart of nature, with an authentic safari experience complete with all the luxury modern finishings.

The feeling of being under canvas in the middle of the wilderness is unrivalled, with the sights and sounds of the bush closer than you’ve ever experienced them before.
