It’s not often that you walk into a place and immediately you feel right at home. Mostly it takes some time for a place to warm up to you or for the staff and managers to welcome you and make a first impression on you.. but this place is different: La Cabriere Country House in Franschoek just feels right the moment you drive in and walk through the garden.
We’ve also met the Belgian owners, Marc and Tess and hit it off with them from the first second.
Visit the Wine-lands
For anyone looking for a stylish, yet cosy and homey place to stay during their visit of the Wine-lands in South Africa, La Cabriere Country House is just perfect. The guesthouse only has a handful of rooms, located on a low hill, overlooking the Franschhoek valley. But still only 2 minutes walking distance from the centre of this beautiful petit town.
